Review: Excellent product, value for money. Offers the data I want esp heart rate and step count; along with plenty of is provided with. The monitor is small for data to be read comfortably, but that grants a sleek look as well, and I use the Fitbit only to gather data; not to read from it. The data gets synced immediately to my phone’s Fitbit App, from where you can comfortably read it, for instance live heart rate data. Additionally, it’s a wrist wear; unlike many other devices which need a chest strap, which I do not for example. Overall, with the current price, it’s worth it and very useful.

Review: This is my first fitness band & I had bought it by doing extensive research on online portals for example YouTube & shopping apps. The best part with the Fitbit inspire 3 is the integration of the fitbit app with the device. The heart rate screen is pretty accurate for walks & very accurate while on sleep mode. I’d checked with my BP screen device & the heart rate on the fitbit & the BP device were effectively the same with a difference of 1 or 2 units. The accuracy with connected GPS is as expected as it’s integrated to google maps. The step counter is something subjective & this is with any expensive fitness trackers or smartwatches as it heavily relies on hand motion.Coming to the USP & Pros:-You need not wear the device intact or firmly for accurate results. You can loosen up & still receive accurate results with fitbit devices.-The heart rate screen is on point & gets the work done brilliantly.-The detailed sleep profile & other data on the fitbit secure is worth your money if health & fitness is your priority.- Glowing battery backup, easily lasts 10 days without switching on your mobile notifications. Notifs are anyway irrelevant for a tiny monitor.- The device is quite small & hence you can wear it all day without any hassle.Cons:- The step counter counts travelling on autorickshaw or any other hand motions.- Some of the scores will be available only if you wear the device for a minimum of 15 hours (example: readiness score, stress management score)

Review: Had a Fitbit smartwatch previously and “downgraded” to the fitness tracker. It’s a lot cheaper at about a third of the watch’s price, but the tiny monitor is a hard read for my aged eyes. Otherwise... love it. The fitness tracker Designed for my needs, which is mainly on tracking my health so it’s still good value considering I had not used the other functionalities of the smartwatch.

Review: COMPARISON TO LUXE. I had a Luxe model before, and I loved it. For reasons I will discuss below, I needed to receive a new Fitbit. I shopped around for models and found that this Inspire 3 was very similar. In the pictures, my Luxe is the device with the gold rim and beige band; the Inspire 3 is the all-around black one. You can see that the shape, dimensions specifications, and design is similar. The Inspire 3 does NOT have the gold rim of the Luxe, which I felt added a little class to my Fitbit, but it’s still slim and feels feminine and not bulky. The functions are pretty identical.BATTERY. The battery of the Fitbit is both one of the best parts of the device and the worst parts of it. It’s the best in terms of speed of charging and housing its charge. On a new Fitbit, it takes less than 1 hr to completely charge a device. The charge supports for days - it can even go a whole week without recharging. Few other smart watch/activity monitors can boast that. But, the battery eventually dies out, requiring you to charge it several times a day. That’s what happened to ALL of my Fitbit devices before (I am on my 4th device). It seems to happen around 1-2 years into the use of the device. I don’t know if this is just what happens to batteries or whether this is an instance of built obsolescence. I would for example the option to retain my device and simply change the battery, but sadly Fitbit doesn’t allow this.The charger is proprietary (i.e., it isn’t a USB-C or similarly universal plug) but simple to use. This version of it (compared to the Luxe’s charger, which is sightly different in shape and therefore not compatible) is entirely composed of plastic and feels light and a bit cheap. But, I have been using it for a couple of months and so far, it seems to be safe and durable.FUNCTIONALITY. As you can see in the video, there are many (many!) functions on this device. It keeps time, it monitors heart rate and activity level (it can send you an alert in case of irregular heart beat), it monitors steps (and you can set a target each day), it monitors sleep and even blood O2 levels (to detect sleep apnea) and sleep stages, etc etc etc. You can link it to your phone and have it notify you of messages and/or schedule events. You can easily change the face of the Fitbit (look and feel, and also access to some functionalities) in the app. I Factory-installed a screenshot from a portion of the options for the face. I chose the Clear face/template which only shows time, heart rate, and steps. However, I find that whenever I engage in exercise it automatically goes into an exercise mode that I don’t know how to receive out of, and it annoys me as I cannot see my heart rate, time, or steps. I swipe in each direction and I receive access to a whole lots of confusing screens, and sometimes end up changing my settings by accident. In a way, having too many options accessible from the home monitor can be an issue. I just want it to stay simple. But those who for example to have gadgets that they can play with will be very happy.COMPATIBILITY. Ultimately, the reason I retain purchasing Fitbit (despite me swearing them off each time the battery dies after a year), is that the system is compatible with many many other apps. Including, my scale is anther brand but it sends its data into the Fitbit app. My diet app is with another company, but it sends its data into Fitbit. etc etc. So in the end, because it is universally compatible with every other health app out there, it just ends up becoming a centralized app that you can’t really receive away from. So I guess it works for me. Because it is so ubiquitous, it is also possible to find many off-brand options for example wrist bands that are cheaper and composed of funner colours.... So that’s a along with too...
