A good-quality printerI have been using this printer for a few months now and so far I don’t regret buying it. Compared to an inkjet printer, the printing speed is faster and it is less noisy. In addition, auto duplex is a very handy feature for printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. You can scan documents and save them in a format of your choice — pdf, jpeg etc. You can even scan several pages and save them as one pdf document. A disadvantage, compared to inkjet printers, is that it consumes a lot of power, so it cannot be connected to your UPS. Hence, you can’t use it if there’s a power outage. Make sure there’s an additional wall socket nearby where you can plug in the printer because the manufacturer strongly recommends not using an extension cord. If there’s no wall socket near your computer, it might be better to opt for the model with wifi capability so that you can place the printer where the socket is located and send print jobs wirelessly from the computer.
